The future of AI in marketing
May 23rd, 2019
As the sun finally starts to shine on our unpredictable British summer, it’s time to put the brollies away and send out a market update to our candidates, clients, suppliers and friends.
It’s been a while, and for that I apologise, but it’s been a while for a very good reason; we have been too busy serving our clients and filling a record number of positions! That’s not to say that life has stood still at KDR, far from it. We have a new team member Mel Rowbotham who has joined us in the capacity of candidate relationship specialist. As a result of this you should be hearing more from us by way of targeted e-shots, keeping you up to date with the opportunities we have that may suit you. In addition Mel will be developing and expanding our social media presence as this phenomenon continues to play an increasingly more important part in all of our lives.
The information management market continues to blossom, and as confidence returns in general more and more of you have been tempted to dip your toe in the employment market. We are working with a wide range of companies from global insurance companies to UK based manufacturing companies, from niche information management consultancies to global ‘big 4’ consultancies. As you can see from our jobs pages we have a wide range of positions to suit most people working in the information management market place.
So more about us being very busy over the last few months! We’ve had two personal records since we last got in touch; Chris had four contract starters on one day and Emma placed four senior candidates during one amazing week. Mark is making great headway in cornering the SAP data services market whilst Fiona keeps her hands on the controls and in touch with a number of our key accounts. Partly as a result of these successes we have twice posted our best ever month in terms of revenue and are about to release out best ever quarter’s figures for the second time in three quarters.
The market that we serve, information management, is going through a period of exciting change. In particular the world of mobile information is on every executive’s agenda, with Microstrategy and Qlikview being major players in the tablet market, while the new flash enabled Blackberry tablet will open up a new world of opportunities for other vendors. Data integration technology is leaping ahead, with established players like SAP consolidating their markets and newer, open source companies like Talend and Jaspersoft making great headway.
I believe that because of our focus on the information management market our clients have confidence in our ability to understand our market. As a result of our in depth knowledge and network we can identify the best talent to help fill our clients’ positions, be they permanent hires or contract positions.
But enough about us, what are your thoughts? Could we be doing anything better? Is there anything more you would like from us? Did you find this newsletter and jobs broadcast informative? Please fee free to get in touch with me directly; my email address is firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any comments or suggestions
I look forward to hearing from you in due course, but in the meantime we will be getting in touch with further market news in three months time.
