QlikTech, (NASDAQ: QLIK) a leader in Business Discovery—user-driven Business Intelligence (BI), today launched a new certification program designed to help its partners differentiate themselves in the growing market for Business Discovery. The new QlikView 11 Certification Program, available to members of the Qonnect Partner Program, validates the knowledge and skills of QlikView partners and acknowledges an individual’s understanding and capabilities with the QlikView Business Discovery platform. The result is an extensive ecosystem of third-party organizations that are helping to provide QlikView customers with an end-to-end Business Discovery solution that delivers the business-critical reliability they need.

The QlikView 11 Certification Program, which is comprised of three offerings – QlikView Certified Designer, QlikView Certified Developer, and QlikView Certified System Administrator – requires a combination of recommended classroom sessions, practical hands-on use, and live project experience. Individuals must pass one or multiple exams in order to achieve the relevant level of certification. Each exam allows QlikTech to measure the product knowledge and skills acquired by partners and enables partners to benchmark skills against an established level of competency.

“QlikTech partners are well positioned to benefit from the incredible growth opportunity in Business Discovery. The QlikView 11 Certification Program provides the validation our partners require to deliver customer success,” said Peter McQuade, vice president of Alliances and Partner Sales at QlikTech. “Our partners are not just selling QlikView as a solution; they are building an entire business platform. We value that level of expertise and want to provide those partners a chance to differentiate themselves and their expertise to our customers.”

Leading Organizations Support QlikView 11 Certification Program

Before launching the QlikView 11 Certification Program, QlikTech beta tested this new program to nearly 900 participants across the globe. This demonstrates that the certification program is not only scalable, but has been widely anticipated within the QlikTech partner community.

Ranjan Sinha, Principal at Axis Group said, “We see Business Discovery becoming essential to businesses wanting rapid time to value and immediate tangible benefits.  QlikTech is a big part of our business and our partnership has allowed us to work with some of the most prestigious names in the industry. The QlikView 11 Certification Program confirms our ability to deliver exceptional service and value.”

“The rise in mobile and social computing, the shift to collaborative decision making, and a need for heightened data security, quality, and governance can challenge even the most seasoned IT pro,” said David Fussichen, President of Analytics8. “The QlikView 11 Certification Program will help individuals keep pace with the changing BI landscape and empower employers to validate the skills of their IT professionals.”

To expand the delivery and reach of the QlikView 11 Certification Program, QlikTech has entered into an agreement with Pearson VUE, the global leader in computer-based testing services for academic admissions, certification and licensure programs.
