There are lots of opportunities to get involved in aspects of the business that you may not typically be exposed to in any other recruitment business. We are interested in providing opportunities for people to get involved in areas that interest them. We run a Champions programme where you are encouraged to lead and mentor on different aspects of the business, this could be anything from new technology for the business, to diversity and inclusion programmes or best in class customer experience. You are given the tools, the coaching and the opportunities to effect change in the areas you wish to deep dive into.
As part of KDR, you will have access to progressive learning and development. We have our own inhouse training programme to progress you in your role. You also receive on the job training via colleagues and managers, all designed to ensure you are growing and developing in your career. We work with an external training expert to help embed all that you are learning within the context of the wider recruitment profession. Our aim is to keep working with you. Many of our staff have been with us for over 8 years, starting in entry level positions and now running teams and sector areas.

We offer a unique commission structure based on the roles you work. If you work the full 360 you could earn 3 lots of commission!
If you hit your quarterly target you work a 4 and half day week. Upon starting you have the option to work UK or US hours, as well as flexible start and finish times. We finish an hour early on Fridays and even earlier if you’ve hit your target that week.
We strongly believe in rewarding our team; in the past we have taken the team go-karting, paint balling and to Alton Towers, as well as on weekend city breaks.

We are not aggressive salespeople using tactics to get people to apply for roles. We build relationships and play the long game rather than working for short term gains. We are consultative in our approach and that flows across all the clients and candidates we work with. Internally we work with honesty and follow strong moral principles.
The power of communication lies within the strength of your listening skills. We actively listen to the people we work with, whether that be clients, candidates, or our internal team so that we can find people the best solutions to whatever it is they are working towards.
If we say we are consultative and that we listen that also means delivering on our promises, so if we have promised a call back or a client a CV, we deliver on those promises. It also means we don’t over promise, so understanding when we can’t help someone, because it is outside our area of expertise, is also important to us. Part of the skill of delivering on promises is to understand our own capabilities, we don’t want burnout, but we do want to provide the best service we can on an individual level.
Internally we run a very collaborative environment. We are grown up and share wins, clients, candidates and information because we understand that together we are stronger and ultimately, we all benefit. We stand by each other through difficult times. We also act as a team for our candidates, helping them to get a role and our clients, helping internal recruitment teams or hiring managers find the best people for their business.
