Data Use vs Data Need: What should your business be prioritising?
July 21st, 2020
SQL Developer | Cheltenham | £40,000 – £60,000 per year
Are you an experienced Business Intelligence Developer who enjoys working with stakeholders, as well as rolling your sleeves up & getting involved technically?
Even during this testing time, my client is still hiring for a Business Intelligence Developer at their offices in Cheltenham (you’ll be home based for the time being). You’ll be working for a reputable financial services institution who like to do things differently with their customers!
They already have an established Azure Data Warehouse, so if you’ve got experience with Azure – great! If you haven’t, this is a perfect opportunity to get involved with one and learn some extra tools and technologies while in lockdown.
What will you be doing?
As a Senior Business intelligence Developer, you will lead in the development of the data warehouse, OLAP and other BI solutions that underpin analytics at this organisation. You will also contribute to the evaluation of BI and development tools as well as establishing standards and best practices.
Skills you’ll need to excel;
You might think that looking for a role throughout this pandemic is a risky decision, however my clients product is vital for its customers and do need extra resource throughout this turbulent time. Once we come out of the other side, you can look forward to a future of growth with this company & eventually recruit Business Intelligence Developers of your own, to manage and coach, if you wish.
In the meantime, you can expect…
If you’re thinking of applying for this role and you don’t have a CV, please do reach out anyway & I’ll be happy to work around this for you.
The interview process is expected to be fully remote for the time being & if you are successful, you will be onboarded remotely with full support of the HR department & myself.
Please note – If you have any questions about the role and company itself due to what’s going on at the moment, I am happy to discuss in thorough detail so I can set your mind at ease.
