We’re looking for a passionate Senior Solutions Architect - Cloud, ETL, Data Warehousing to join a high-growth Big Data and Cloud company specialising in Cloud Data Integration.

This is a permanent opportunity to work with top-of-the-range technology, along with the latest tools and software on the market. This role is working out of our client's offices in Manchester with the occasional travel to Data and Cloud conferences/meet ups.

Our client is currently shaking up the industry with their game changing ELT product that is one hundred times faster than the more traditional ETL tools. Due to our clients continued growth and success they are building a US based team.

You will work with bright, like-minded people in a fast-paced start up environment where your skills in ETL, Data Warehousing and Cloud technologies will advance to the next level.

The CTO of Amazon recently stated "its so fast, everybody wants it" when discussing our client's product in his Key note.

About the role:

Initially, you’ll be trained in their product. You will interact with their customers, consulting and shaping solutions dependant on each individual customer need. You provide proof of concepts, technical demos and will generate technical content. You will be responsible for pre-sales activities along with some end-to-end implementation. This will role will require well rounded technical expertise as you will be engaging with multiple customers, working across different industries sectors, technology stacks and cultures.

The skills you'll need:

  • Experience with ANY leading ETL out there, such as Informatica, Pentaho, Talend, Ab Initio, Ab Initio, Datastage
  • Experience working with one of the following programming languages - Python, Java, Perl, Ruby, Bash
  • Experience working with Relational Databases (RDBMS) -Redshift, Google BigQuery Snowflake
  • Open source technologies / environments - MySQL, EC2, MongoDB, PostgeSQL, AWS, NoSQL, Redshift, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Snowflake, etc. 
  • Experience providing tech demos, POCs
  • Experience working with Stakeholders
