We are working with an award winning Software Company that due to their continued success and growth are seeking an Test Analyst - software, tester to support their Java Product Development Team, building Big Data and Cloud based products!

This company have been taking their market by storm in recent years with their new award winning solution and this is a fantastic opportunity to join them on their exciting journey.

You will need to be a bright and enthusiastic individual, with a hunger to work in a company really going places with top-of-the-range technology along with the latest tools and software.

This role will be located in our client's HQ in Manchester where you will enjoy a modern and newly designed office space with Table Tennis tables, a bar and retro arcade machines. In addition to this you will enjoy a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

The role involves:

  • Manual and Automation Testing (don't worry if you don't have automation knowledge, you will be provided training in this area)
  • Rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in to testing some cutting edge software / technology
  • Working as part of an exciting, dynamic team of software professionals

It is important that you have:

  • Experience of Software Testing - .Net, Java, Web etc
  • A good understanding of wider IT such as scripting or development
  • Knowledge of Version Control
  • Experience working with Jira
  • Full understanding of the creation and execution of Test Scripts

It would also be great (but not essential) if you:

  • Have worked in an Agile environment
  • Cloud/Open Source experience
  • Tested Data products
