Our client is selling a Customer Data Platform that is used to create the customer data insight needed to power a wide range of business initiatives. They are now seeking an experienced Senior Account Executive with a strong understanding of Data Analytics / Big Data/ Tag Management software. Ideally you will have sold one of these types of products previously, and understand how these platforms can add huge value to Blue Chip organisations, particularly when they are trying to understand their customers in more detail which in turn allows them to make smarter business decisions.

Key Responsibilities in this Senior Account Executive role:

  • Develop and maintain a sales plan
  • Build a qualified pipeline of new business
  • Demonstrate the solution to prospective clients
  • Collaborate with pre sales / sales engineers, marketing and the customer success team
  • Lead the account throughout the implantation process
  • Nurture the relationship with the client long term

Skills required to be considered for this Senior Account Executive position:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience selling into Fortune 500 companies, particularly those in the finance and retail sectors
  • Experience of selling Data Analytics / Big Data/ Tag Management software
  • SaaS sales
  • Consultative sales approach
  • Experience of managing complex sales cycles
  • Experience of engaging and managing multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate with C-Level managers, right through to IT and Web Development teams
  • “Hunter” mentality
  • Creative sales approach
