Data Warehouses are vital to any businesses looking to utilise their data for analytics and reporting. They are even more vital to my client, a leading player in the FinTech sector based in South Wales, as they build a Data Warehouse for all their clients and are currently maintaining over 50 Data Warehouses, whilst building new ones as their list of high-profile clients grow.
This calls for you – A Senior Data Warehouse Developer to take the bull by its horn and steer the team through an incredibly fast-paced technical development environment. You will be responsible for bringing your expertise around Data Warehousing to provide solutions for both project and BAU work. You will be a senior key figure in a team of developers providing direction to aid the organisation with their Data Warehousing strategy. You will be an advocate for agile methodology and engage with stakeholders across the organisation, including clients, to gather requirements, and implement solutions. You will be working in an incredibly fast-paced environment, maintaining and adding to existing Data Warehouses as well as building Data Warehouses for new clients. Most importantly, you will be getting your hands dirty around the development of complex ETL and Data Warehouse solutions.
Your new team:
You will be joining a dynamic team of 11 (growing to 16 over the next couple of months) across Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, ETL, Analytics and Reporting. A highly efficient and tight-run team where everyone gets on. Specific to you, a handful of back-end ETL and Data Warehouse Developers will be looking to you for mentorship and guidance across developments, support and greenfield Data Warehouse builds. This is an opportunity to get in early with a fast-growing function.
