A truly unique opportunity to work within a small, focused & passionate Data Science team, creating and building products for one of the global leaders in the Banking world, within their Corporate & Investment Banking arm. 

This a role where whatever work you produce really matters for the 1000s of clients this organisation currently have. They are regulated, so it’s not as agile as your usual start-up, but as well as being extremely creative and quick, they’ll require you to combine this with discipline and awareness to build truly scalable products.

This is probably the most fascinating time within the industry, it’s a remarkable period where there’s a huge need for effectiveness, productivity and efficiency to work with the right tools, make quick decisions and embrace technology and innovation.

This is what you'll be doing:

  • You’ll be working on some of the most complex problems imaginable, utilising your skills and cutting-edge tools within the two dynamic industries of finance and technology. 
  • Develop products that can change the way 1000s of clients operate, and how Banking is done today
  • Contribute to building a foundation of state-of-the-art technical and scientific capabilities to support a number of Data & Analytics projects 

Your new place of work:

You’ll be working alongside leaders within the fields of Data Science, NLP, Analytics & Machine Learning. They’re one of the largest Investment Banking organisations worldwide, and this hub will be dedicated to working with their 1000s of global clients and building scalable products & solutions. 

Ideally you will have these skills/background:

  • You’ll be a true subject matter expert in one of the following fields, NLP, Recommendation Systems, Reinforcement learning, or a talented PhD grad who has published some truly insightful research into the topics 
  • A strong programmer in multiple languages
  • Machine Learning experience 
  • PhD within Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Sciences or related degree
