We’re looking for a passionate Financial Reporting Analyst – SQL / Excel to join a globally recognised company specialising in software-driven servicing for loans, investments and insurance across the finance sector.

About the role 

As a specialist, you will be required to deliver on contractual monthly and quarterly reporting requirements with fixed deadlines using Microsoft Excel and SQL. Working with the securitisation team, you will automate data extraction for the routine reporting ensuring that expenses are properly accounted for and that cash movements are correctly allocated and reported. 

This role will require liaising with 3rd parties in obtaining and verifying quotations, invoices & interest rates – you will be expected to identify and implement changes to current processes to improve customer experience.

The skills you will need:

  • Ability to prototype reporting in Excel and SQL
  • Experience with Financial Reporting and Modelling 
  • Performing analyses to support impact or effect of contractual, regulatory and remedial proposals 
  • Persistence in obtaining required data when not initially available through routine channels
  • Financial services experience

It would be nice if you have (but not essential):

  • Skills with Microsoft SQL Server stack (TSQL, SSRS, SSAS)
  • Knowledge of software in modern languages (R, Python, Java etc.)
