Risk Analyst – Data Protection, GDPR, Information Security

We need you to help us provide support and assurance of privacy and data protection risk across the enterprise. We are aware of the ever increasing importance of having secure policies and frameworks for data protection and information security.

The team has grown from 10 to 25 people over the last 2 years! We are looking for aspiring Information Risk Analysts to help us build upon our recent success.

What you will be doing:

  • You’ll assess the impact of potential data and security breaches, assist in the management and follow-up of any breach incidents and perform rout cause analysis.
  • Support the design, build and delivery of security and data protection training
  • Operate a policy compliance framework and maintain an enterprise wide exception register to ensure that approved and issued policies across the Group are being adhered to.
  • Support business change and procurement projects at a project team level to ensure that group policies and security and data protection legislation is being incorporated.
  • Assess and report on third party compliance with Security and Data Protection requirements to provide assurance that the Group’s information is protected when being handled by existing external suppliers.

It would be great if you had this experience:

  • Clear enthusiasm and passion for Information Technology and data
  • MI Reporting and Excel skills
  • Some working knowledge of the basic principles of the Data Protection Act and GDPR legislation
  • Analytical, inquisitive and eager to learn and expand
