Would you like to work for one of the fastest growing FinTech companies in the UK as the Reporting and Analytics Manager based in Newport?

My client is looking for a Reporting & Analytics Manager to join them and lead the development, delivery and management of group-wide reporting and analytics shared service capability. You would also be responsible for delivering actionable insight that makes a difference to the bottom line, through the easier adoption and exploitation of existing and new technologies.

In the role you will:

  • Govern overall reporting and analytics principles, roadmap and vision (including maintenance of current state view)
  • Raise awareness and ensuring buy-in, throughout the company, of the reporting and analytics vision and approach, as well as of corresponding implications.
  • Drive the execution of the overall reporting and analytics strategy, supported by a robust and executable architecture.
  • Implement the future reporting and analytics Organisation (profile, headcount)
  • Develop and manage the reporting and analytics function and for the timely implementation of reporting and analytics procedures and tools.
  • Define the requirements for reporting and analytics architecture and influencing architectural decisions to ensure business requirements are met.
  • Represent the reporting and analytics function at architectural governance bodies such as Information Design Authority or Architectural Review Board to ensure alignment of the reporting and analytics architecture to overall company strategy

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of driving improved business performance through insights derived from data.
  • Strong background in relevant technologies and architecting large scale solutions and strategies
  • Expertise in data governance, metadata, data definition, data modelling, data quality, data lifecycle management, and data integration and storage.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills to manage a dynamic, often disperse team
  • Good understanding of Data and IT related matters
  • Stakeholder management, communication, management and negotiation (commercial) skills

If you have experience of client-side consulting within Financial Services then that is a benefit, but by no means necessary.
