Marketing Manager – Nottingham

Marketing Manager | South Nottingham | £55,000 – £85,000 per year

My client is looking for a Marketing Manager after a full restructure last year. They have an already well-established digital team and are currently spinning up an Insight Team which is currently non-existent, so this role will be getting involved in something completely greenfield!

The Vision
Ultimately, my client needs somebody more strategic for this role & understand how to bring business to the platform. As the Marketing Manager, you will build out a strategy quite quickly & have a super engaging personality to pull out commercial source or questions to progress further down the road.

You will look forward to either becoming a Head of Department or pumping more money into this division to take it even further! (or both!)

After the restructuring and increasing their budget. My client has identified 3 areas for this Marketing Manager to champion:

  • Strategic insight – able to run focus groups and get stakeholder input
  • Operational insight – developing a concept, will it reinstate before going to market?
  • Customer Insight – understanding the key elements to the customer to identify what is and is not working & increase customer lifetime value.

You will also be responsible for 1 direct report in the first instance.

What do we need from you?

  • Drive and passion are they key – they need “fresh thinking”
  • Proven experience in a Marketing/Insight environment
  • The ability to be “hands-on”. What we mean by that is, not relying on agencies to do all the work for you
  • Understanding of different solutions from a marketing perspective
  • To implement Agile methodology
  • Utilise data from various sources to develop clear proposals for Board consideration
  • Proven hands-on experience in qual/quant studies, developing discussion guides, running focus groups and analytics.
