Marketing Data Analyst – SQL, Campaign

Why are we hiring?

After a successful first year growing the Strategy and Marketing division, we are looking to hire Marketing Data Analyst on a 9 month fixed-term contract.

You will be able to make a real difference from day one, playing a key role in the delivery of results and change within this area of the business

We need to make better data driven decisions, with this person playing a pivotal role in delivering insight and analysis on the customer base.

What you will be doing:

The focus of the role is to provide data analysis, insight, customer selections and marketing database management updates in order to deliver targeted marketing campaigns and to evaluate their effectiveness.

  • Analyse, segment, and recommend targeted customer selections and controls for Direct Mail and email marketing campaign activity.
  • Propensity modelling to produce timely, more relevant and more effective marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor, analyse and evaluate all marketing campaign activity using a range of analytical tools and data sources, reviewing against agreed key performance indicators (KPI’s).
  • Build, maintain and develop relationships with stakeholders and third party suppliers.
  • Ensure data integrity through following internal QA processes including suppression’s, and data troubleshooting, identifying issues and risks and escalating through the correct channels as appropriate.

It would be great if you had experience:

  • High level of numeracy and strong analytical skills, database management and with proven experience of using complex and multiple sets of data.
  • Ability to translate analytical findings to non-technical and business users.
  • Proven experience in a similar campaign selections and analysis role.
  • Strong competence and Experience with software and analytical and reporting tools, e.g. Excel, SQL, R, Power BI plus experience of using data visualisation tool e.g. Tableau, QlikView, Yellowfin.
  • Experience of working with propensity modelling for campaign selections.
  • Experience of working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders at varying levels, including senior stakeholders.
