With the role being based in London, you will be expected to be based close to the London office, but there is no travel involved and you will work remotely for the time being.

My client is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to work closely with their clients on building ingestion pipelines & feed the data back to my client’s platform. From then on, the data scientists and analysts will build models around that data & put them into a report/visualisation to help the customer understand how THEIR customer works, from a human perspective; through the use of Artificial Intelligence.

Skills you will need

• Python
• Data Streaming – Ideally Spark or Kafka, however, any other data streaming tech would be fine (Flink, Kinesis, Storm, Samza, Apache Nifi, Flume ETC)
• Client facing experience
• Strong stakeholder engagement/communication skills

My client work with huge clients in the industry, so not only will you get chance to work with different industries/stakeholders, but a lot of the time the tech stack that you’ll be working with will be different, based on the clients requirements.
