Would you like to work for one of the largest Finance BPO organisations in the UK as the Head of Performance Management (Data and MI)?

My client is currently going through a Data Strategy transformation. As part of this transformation various new roles have become available including a Demand Manager, which will sit in-between the business and Data department responsible for:

  • Effective co-ordination of both internal and external client requirements, driving a performance management agenda based upon deep knowledge of the art of the possible across all of the domains of the Office of the CDO
  • To provide and co-ordinate sales support and technical guidance in respect of new BPO bid responses, core change work and new and innovative data and analytical solutions.
  • Ensure the effective and governed delivery of robust and reliable designs and estimates for profitable operational & analytical initiatives and solutions
  • To ensure robust policies and controls are in place, processes are governed and gated to mitigate risks and to deliver timely and repeatable outcomes.

In the role you will:

  • Build relationships with individuals across transformation such as programme and portfolio leadership, architects etc. to gain an understanding of the new and in-flight change and to influence the scope and architecture of those projects
  • Responsible for the effectively complete RFI’s/RFP’s in respect to both specific data related work as well as broader Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) opportunities.
  • Support new business sales activities including responding to new bid work
  • Ensure join up across solutioning teams driving maximum value from Data & Information Initiative
  • Govern the IM strategy and be responsible for creating a Vibrant IM Community
  • Responsible for ensuring alignment of requirements to support and inform the Corporate Plan
  • Responsible for coordinating Business User Acceptance Test through the Release Manager and Information Consultants. Oversees UAT into BAU and ensures value realisation including formal Post completion reviews (PCR)

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Commercial experience of bid responses and solution related estimating
  • Experience across Information Management and Solutions architecture, delivery and business facing aspects
  • Strong background in relevant technologies and architecting large scale solutions and strategies
  • Strong leadership skills to manage teams both fixed and matrix reporting lines
  • Suitable seniority, reflecting importance of the role, business understanding and credibility throughout the company
  • Proven stakeholder management, communication, management and negotiation skills
  • Client-side consulting and advisory, ideally within Financial Services
  • Proven Track Record having led requirements elements and solution acceptance for many significant (sizable and complex) solutions over several years working both Business as Usual and Major Programme contexts.
  • Strong knowledge of full delivery lifecycle including documented requirements, operational systems, data management, integration, storage & modelling, reporting and analytic tools and overall solutioning
