Are you a Head of Data Management professional looking for a new challenge?

One of our high profile, FinTech clients based in Newport is currently going through a huge data strategy transformation. Subsequently, a new opportunity has arisen as the Head of Data Management for the organisation. 

This is an extremely important in the company. My client need a proven data management strategist who can drive the effective implementation and development of the data management capability across the entire organisation, whilst being able to influence and shape the overall strategy, governance models, organisational constructs and enabling technologies.

In the role you will be responsible for:

  • The overall Data Architecture principles, roadmap and vision (including maintenance of current state view)
  • Raising awareness and ensuring buy-in, throughout the company, of the Data vision and approach, as well as of corresponding implications
  • Driving the execution of the overall Data Management strategy supported by a robust and executable architecture.
  • Implementing the future local Data Management Organisation (profile, headcount)
  • The development and management of the Data Care Processes and for driving the timely implementation of Data Management procedures and tools
  • Defining the requirements for Data related technology and architecture and influencing architectural decisions to ensure these requirements are met.
  • Representing the IMCC at architectural governance bodies such as Information Design Authority or Architectural Review Board to ensure alignment of architecture to IM strategy

Ideally you will have:    

  • Experience across Information Management including architecture, delivery and business facing aspects
  • Strong background in relevant technologies and architecting large scale solutions and strategies
  • Expertise in data governance, metadata, data definition, data modelling, data quality, data lifecycle management, and data integration and storage.
