Director – Data & Business Intelligence | London | £100,000 – £130,000 per year

The role

The first 6 -12 months will see you mainly focus on client project delivery and team management, due to the large volume of existing work that needs support.

Following on from this your time will be spent Project sourcing and multi-project management, developing market position and commercial propositions.

You’ll also mange a team of Project Delivery leads, mostly likely between 3-5, who will be technical specialist in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Architecture and Development.

There will also be an expectation that you ‘roll your sleeves up’ by building data, information and BI architectures, along with providing sound technical tooling advice to clients.

  • Experience with Project and Team Management

  • Developing pipelines of potential new clients
  • Project structuring and scoping

The technical experience we would expect you to have

You won’t need all these but if you have 3-4+ then that would be beneficial.

  • Modern data tools: Data Lake, Data Warehouses, SQL, Spark, Python
  • Visualisation: Looker, Power BI, Tableau
  • Platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP
  • Databases: Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Datawarehouse, Snowflake
  • BI, Data and Information Architecture
  • Engineering mindset (e.g. Agile development, Git, Jira…)
