DevOps Infrastructure Engineer – Remote

Our award-winning client is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join their growing team. This role is a DevOps professionals dream with the opportunity to work with AWS, Google Cloud and Azure!

The role will see you working with an expanding and successful Big Data company in South Manchester that put their employees first at a time of accelerated growth. You can be based in their modern office or work remotely.

As the DevOps Engineer it is important that you are a bright and enthusiastic individual, with a grounding in Linux environments but have strong experience working on Cloud and Automation.

As the DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Promote containerisation by working with Docker in a Kubernetes orchestration
  • Helping build and promote a DevOps culture
  • Automation of processes using Puppet and Ansible
  • Defining Datacentric Infrastructure with Terraform
  • Working closely with AWS, Google Cloud and Azure

As a DevOps Engineer it is important that you have:

  • A good understanding of Infrastructure and Automation
  • An appreciation of open source could based technologies such as AWS, GCP or Azure
  • Experience with Containorisation with Docker, Swarm or Kubernetes
  • Expertise around CI/CD
  • Knowledge of a variety of tech that can include but not limited to, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, Cloud Formation, Jenkins etc
