Our award winning client is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to joining their growing DevOps and Cloud function.
The role will see you working with an expanding and successful Big Data company in South Manchester that put their employees first at a time of accelerated growth. 
It is important that you are a bright and enthusiastic individual, with previous experience of working in a Linux environment and have an appreciation for Cloud and Automation.
Our client specialists in the field of Cloud Integration, therefore offer a unique opportunity to expand your knowledge across AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure!
You will be responsible for:
  • Engaging with the product at every stage, from design, through testing and then into production and support.
  • Helping build a DevOps environment and driving a DevOps culture
  • Configuration and maintenance of the company's main Linux servers
  • Automation of processes using Puppet and Ansible 
  • Working with the DevOps team to Implement Docker
  • Defining Datacentric Infrastructure with Terraform
  • Working closely with AWS, Google Cloud and Azure
It is important that you have:
  • Experience with Unix/Linux and working with databases
  • A good understanding of infrastructure 
  • An appreciation of open source could based technologies such as AWS
It would be great if you also have:
  • Experience with DevOps automation tools such as Puppet or Ansible
  • Worked with container technology such as Docker
  • Worked in an agile environment
  • A good Java knowledge
