DB2 Product Manager – DB2 Database

If you’re sick of commuting into London and want to make your mark in a company who value the importance of Data, read this ad.

I don’t have £100,000; I have a good salary considering this is out of London + amazing benefits. But what’s important is that you can get a few hours of your life back every day with your family by saving on commuting. This is an opportunity to work for someone who actually care about their people, which makes it a very nice place to be going in to work every day.

In this job, you’ll be the DB2 Product Manager where you’ll take ownership of the build, delivery and support of this large scale DB2 Database.

Why should you apply?

  • A household name recognised by most, you’d be proud to work here and to be part of a relaxed, friendly culture. Homeworking is normal, with 1 day as a minimum per week after passing probation.
  • With customers in their millions to serve, you’ll be kept extremely busy, which means a challenge and variety. Boredom won’t even come into the equation here.

Who Are You?

  • You’ll have DB2 Database management experience as well as Linux experience
  • You’ll need advanced knowledge of Distributed DB2 Databases
  • Someone with detailed knowledge of Demand Management, Major Incident Management + Continual Service improvement
  • An advocate of Agile and applying this methodology to product enhancements/developments.

What Do I Get?

Our client rewards their people with a package that looks after everything that’s important to you. For tech roles, this includes the best and latest state-of-the-art technology most candidates would love to get their hands on, but also includes flexibility in working from home, private medical and a generous pension scheme (plus many more nice-to-have’s as part of your compensation package).
