The consequences of not meeting the requirements in relation to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) by May 2018 will have a severe impact on our business.

Why are we recruiting?

A key aspect of our risk management framework is focused on the requirements in relation to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We need someone to play an important role in implementing and maintaining the company’s risk management framework that is focused on the requirements of GDPR and wider Data Protection.

Role objective:

  • Be responsible for putting forward recommendations to contribute to the strategy in the Data Protection and wide regulatory risk arena
  • Design, implement and own an effective risk management framework that is focused on the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Introduce a communications plan to ensure the framework and new Data Protection requirements are cascaded appropriately and understood by the business.
  • Maintain awareness and understanding of external regulatory developments in UK & Europe.

The skills you will need:

  • Thorough working knowledge and understanding of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements
  • Previous or current experience in a Data Protection role.
  • Ability to build effective relationships across all areas of a business.
