My client is a well-established Non-For-Profit organisation. Due to growth, our client is looking for a Data Engineer with a strong background working with Python, AWS, MySQL & Spark.

As a Data Engineer, you will work collaboratively with the team in order to develop innovative ideas to contribute to the mission of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Using Python to build scalable and reliable data pipelines
  • Leveraging data processing technologies such as AWS, Spark & Airflow 
  • Enhance their data framework by writing modular, reusable codes in Python 
  • Writing complex SQL queries against Postgres, MySQL & MSSQL databases
  • Collaborating with third-party API’s to retrieve data from several sources and transform them into the central data warehouse

Key Skills:

  • Strong background working with data warehousing, streaming architecture and machine learning pipeline
  • Experience collaborating with third-party API’s
  • Strong experience working with Python Libraries (Pandas and SQLAlchemy)
  • Experience working with web development frameworks such as Flask, Django, Pyramid
  • Previous experience working with data analysis and visualization methods
  • Thrives off a fast-paced environment
  • 3-5 years of experience working on a Data Science team
