Cloud Technologies is not just the future, it is the present, and the need to develop complex solutions in a multi-cloud environment requires a forward-thinking, data-driven Data Engineer such as yourself with previous experience working in fast-paced hands-on ETL pipeline environments.
This Data Engineering position, sitting in a dynamic engineering team, will see you contributing to the development of new pre-packages ETL jobs, building solutions across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Snowflake whilst picking up Java and Python. You will also be the internal point of contact for complex escalated queries applying your experience in problem-solving and logical-thinking techniques to make a real impact.
Your new team:
There is a strong, dynamic engineering team (Software Engineers, Java Developers) in which you will become the expert for all things Data Engineering. It’s worth noting that this team has doubled in size year-on-year for the last three years, so this is a chance to get in early and put your stamp on a new role.
You’ll report straight into senior management (VP of Engineering) and we’re working on building a team around you to make your life a tad bit easier as the company looks to double in size again this year.
You’ll also take complete ownership of your own work, this is perfect if you like rolling your sleeves up and just getting stuck in- being self-sufficient is key to be successful in this role
Your new company:
About you and the skills you’ll need:
In return, you will receive a competitive basic salary up to £55,000 + and shares in the business; you will also get a day (or two) working from home and flexible working hours.
