Data Engineer – Azure, Python, SQL – FinTech | Manchester | £40,000-£50,000 + bonus

The role

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality data pipeline solutions using your expertise around Azure and Python. There are no SSIS or SSRS requirements, these folks are doing everything on the cloud with the help of Python and some SQL to solve data engineering problems. You will also upskill junior members in the team by providing mentorship, with the potential of having your own team long-term.

What you need:

• Strong proficiency in Python with proven Data Engineering experience.
• Expertise in the different components of Microsoft Azure, such as Azure data factory, Databricks, Catalog etc.
• A ‘go-getter’ personality, you need to have the hunger and drive to roll your sleeves up to get hands-on with the tech to start solving problems.
• A willingness and aspirations to mentor a team with scope to having your own team down the line.
