I am helping my client recruit for a Data Engineer to work on a new data product they have just received funding for. In short, they are a data consultancy who specialise primarily in investment banking / financial services.
My client helps customers tap into large volumes of data & unlock its value, to bring in any decision making and real-time insight into the decision process. They are responsible for the delivery of high-performance data architectures, information management & risk analytics solutions.
You will be working remote initially and working from home up to a year (COVID dependant) & must be comfortable and able to do this.
What will they need from you?
Your role will be to understand and leverage the product and services & their approaches, and identify ant project risks, issues, and feed back to any senior management. So not only does this role require you to be technical, but you must be confident engaging with stakeholders & sharing best practice.
Not only will you be able to work autonomously, you will get the opportunity to work with other technologies like Docker/Kubernetes.
