The aim of this is to create a robust architecture where they can effectively and efficiently grow a world class Data team. 

Due to continued success and growth our client are looking for a talented Data Analytics Manager to join the team.  This isn’t a typical Data Analytics Manager, in this role you will act as an internal consultant to understand the bigger picture of why our client are looking to harness data and create business insight, you will have the opportunity to work across Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Engineering , Data Architecture and much more!

The core responsibilities for this position include:

  • Ensuring that various parts of our client’s business have the ability to leverage rich, accurate, and timely data to generate insights and make better decisions
  • Technical consultation across various areas of the Data and Analytics capability
  • Being the face of Data and Analytics across the business and ensuring that the team is acting in accordance with business needs
  • Engaging with the industry outside of our client to ensure that they are using the best tech to do the job
  • Generating new ideas, spearheading new initiatives
  • Evangelising Data and Analytics, organising events, conferences, hackathons within the global community 

This a unique and exciting opportunity that will allow the right candidate to upskill in a number of different areas while also being given strategic responsibility.

It’s important that you:

  • Are a well-rounded data professional with experience/wider understanding across a number of data disciplines including but not limited to Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Management, Data Architecture and more
  • Have previous experience in offering guidance and recommendations to help direct teams towards delivering analytics capabilities
  • Knowledge of modern tools and methodologies that help shape our clients ability to provide business insight, preferred tech includes Hadoop, AWS, Redshift, Google Cloud (GCP), BigQuery etc
