It seems like every major company is looking to cloud environments with Microsoft Azure being one technology at the top of the pile.
We need to be equipped with new skillsets to meet shifting demands, which is why were looking to recruit an Azure Cloud Platform Architect.
The role
You’ll work as a Azure Cloud Platform Architect taking ownership of the Azure platform, supporting solutions and strategy across the enterprise.
The primary responsibility will be to lead the operational transition and delivery of project deliverables into the Azure / 365 cloud environment (covering business, information, applications technology and service).
This will involve creating a holistic view of all cloud activities, advice and guidance to cloud projects, review and sign off architecture and operational documentation, horizon scanning for platform enhancements and briefing other specialists from within the team as appropriate.
You will be responsible for developing and authoring strategic architecture assets, such as roadmaps, standards, patterns and holistic views.
Where you’ll work
Within the Financial Services market for a business which has been operating for more than 100 years, with more than 300 offices across the UK.
A cross-functional team consisting of c. 100 people in the architecture function.
