Business Intelligence Analyst – PowerBI

Our client in Crawley are a world-wide leader within their niche, currently at a very exciting stage of their Business Intelligence journey. They’re looking for a BI Analyst who’s not afraid to get out in front of the business to showcase their PowerBI Reporting suite & join their growing team of BI professionals in a custom built, state-of-the art office environment in beautiful surroundings.

This is a hugely important role, as you’ll be responsible for pulling together stunning reports for both internal and external stakeholders for their BI Portal. This is the first thing customers will see, so it’s important you’re happy with the data visualisations you create!

Your New Team:

All about the team vibe/atmosphere? You’ll be working with a strong team, all experts in their niche but some people at a more junior level, so you’ll naturally want to share your knowledge, too.

People who want to remain the expert and only expert in this field won’t do well here. You’ll have a lovely team of Insight Analysts, BI Developers, BI Analysts and Business Analysts and you’ll be supported so you grow as our client grow.

Your New Company:

  • Have gone from 50-500 employees in the last 5 years, so an amazing time to consider joining them during this phase of growth.
  • Use the latest technology available on the market, this is a forward-thinking, progressive environment, so if you like process and you’re reluctant to change – this isn’t the place for you.
  • They’re in a very remote, rural location, so you’ll need your own method of transport to get to and from work.

Who Are You?

  • You’ll need to have the desire and confidence to actively go out to business users to show them the latest version of PowerBI – you’ll be our clients in-house PowerBI evangelist – but you don’t need to come in at an expert level, you’ll receive support.
  • A self-confessed Data-Geek with SQL data manipulation experience
  • Someone who wants to lead the BI team and wider organisation to adopt best practice use of visualisations
  • You’ll know exactly when new releases and changes of Microsoft PowerBI come out, and you’ll ensure your team are fully aware of these changes.
  • Not afraid or reluctant to get involved with different project-based work, as well as your BAU activities. You’ll succeed in this company if you have a hunger and willingness to learn – there’s endless opportunities for people with this sort of attitude.
