We are recruiting for an exciting new opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company as a Business Analyst.

This role will see you working across a thriving Software Development Company where you will be responsible for gathering requirements from various client facing departments to better understand the needs of their customers. You will then translate these requirements to the Product Engineering department, working with Managers and Team Leads to prioritise the development work loads.

You will need to be an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills. Ideally you will have an understanding of Software Development Lifecycles and will need to have an appreciation of JIRA or other issue/bug tracking software.

The Business Analyst Role: 

  • Ownership – Have the responsibility and ownership for all open client request (tickets), being able to group tickets to assign owners/workload
  • Bug Triage – Screen and rectify requests/bugs, assigning priority to business-critical issues.
  • Quality - Improve the quality of request by speaking to those who raise the issues. 
  • Communication – Engage with people from various departments across a Software Development Company
  • Technical – Utilising SQL and Jira


  • Experience with JIRA or other Issue Tracking Software development tools e.g. Alloy Navigator, HarmonyPSA, Freshdesk etc. 
  • You ideally be well educated with a BSc, or MSc in a STEM field
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Understanding of SDLC

It would be great if you had:

  • Exposure to ETL, BI or Data Warehousing
  • Appreciation of Cloud technology such as AWS, Azure or GCP
