Are you a hands-on, data-driven Business Intelligence professional with a passion for strategic thinking? If you have experience within BI/Analytics transformation and implementing best practise with regards to Business Intelligence/Management Information, we’d love to hear from you. 

This is an opportunity to truly reshape a BI function and make a direct impact in a highly respected organisation in a stunning part of the UK. This hybrid role will see you working technically, hands-on with data, yet also closely with senior stakeholders with the opportunity to receive recognition within the wider business for your efforts. 

What you’ll do:

  • Manage a team of 4 Management Intelligence Analysts 
  • Be a part of the extended senior management of the data & analytics function.
  • Communicate and provide highly complex and specialist information to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead and execute a data transformation programme for our client’s business by building an industry-leading self-serve analytics function.

Skills you’ll need:

  • 3-4 years’ experience in a Senior BI Developer role, ready to take the next step up in your career, or equivalent Business Intelligence Manager position
  • Experience of working within the insurance sector would be a distinct advantage
  • PowerBI, Qilkview or Tableau experience 
  • Oracle, MSSQL, DB2, Cloud (AWS S3 or Azure), NoSQL (MongoDB)
  • R, SAS, Python or Databricks experience for advanced analytics
