As a Test Analyst you will need to be a bright and enthusiastic individual, with a hunger to work in a company really going places with top-of-the-range technology along with the latest tools and software. You will need to have previous exposure to automation testing or development in test.

This role will be in our client’s HQ in Manchester where you will enjoy a modern and newly designed office space with Table Tennis tables, a bar and retro arcade machines. In addition to this there are fantastic transport links or if you prefer to drive you will be provided with free parking!

The Automation Tester Engineer role involves:

  • Extensive hands on Automation Testing where you will be merging into the product from day one using CI
  • Liaising with colleagues and the managers to help shape, define and elaborate requirements
  • Working with the latest cloud technologies from Amazon, Google and Snowflake
  • Locating bugs and and managing them through the lifecycle
  • Using modern tools, specifically: Jira, Selenium, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Browserstack SQL DB’s, and Docker
  • Working as part of an exciting, dynamic team of software professionals

As the Automation Tester Engineer it’s important that you have:

  • Experience of Software Testing – Java, .NET, Web etc
  • Knowledge of Automation Testing using Selenium
  • A good understanding of programming/development
  • Knowledge of Version Control
  • Experience working with Jira
  • Full understanding of the creation and execution of Test Scripts

It would also be great (but not essential) if you:

  • Have worked in an Agile environment
  • Cloud/Open Source experience
  • Tested Data products
