Would you relish the opportunity to work in a tech company who has been influential in the evolving Music Industry for over 90 years!

We’re looking a Technical Business Analyst to join our client’s team and do just that… This comes at a super exciting time, with the opportunity to be a part of a greenfield, global project.

As part of the ongoing efforts to do break the boundaries in the music industry, the successful candidate will play a key role in streamlining processes, increasing system capacity, and providing even more data insights into the music industry.

You’ll get the opportunity to work within a broad range of fields, adding tones of value along the way, all while learning from leaders in the field. If you have an eye for all things Data (with a love for singing unashamedly in the shower…) then this could be the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Manipulating and analysing datasets from across the music industry
• Creating and maintaining processes for both new and existing functionality
• QA estimating and testing for both new and existing system functionalities, raising bugs/issues as needed with the development team
• Evaluating and executing test cases under varying circumstances
• Supporting the team by writing test scripts and completing initial User Acceptance Testing
• Writing User Stories in our clients DevOps platform and ensuring these are completed according to the agreed scope
• Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Key Requirements:

• Experience of data manipulation in Excel and SQL Server
• Strong SQL experience
• Experience researching, analysing, and gathering data for documentation and flowcharts
• Confidence and initiative to work autonomously
• Strong communication and proven stakeholder management skills

Cherry on top:

• Experience working with software systems, both frontend and backend
• Scrum Agile Methodology experience
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar software development tools (Jira, Confluence, etc)
• QA testing and estimating
• Knowledge and/or experience in business process reengineering
