Senior Data Engineer | Southampton | Hybrid | £60,000 – £80,000 + Benefits

Are you looking for that next step that gives you exposure to the latest Azure technologies? If you’ve got experience with cloud technologies already and want to continue to develop in Azure or transition to Azure this is a great opportunity.

The company you’ll be joining

A financial services sector company, they are a very well backed start-up, with around 25 employees currently. AI, ML and data driven decisions is what they do best, with around half the team being technical helping them to stand out in their field.

A bit more about the role…

• You’ll be working alongside 5 other BI Developers/ Data Engineers
• It will be a hands-on role developing ETL pipelines and data warehouses, all within Azure and largely PySpark and Databricks as well
• You’ll be working closely with Data Science teams, in a genuinely data driven company
• Hybrid working with weekly office visits

What you’ll need:

• You’ll need to have strong BI Development/ Data Engineering skills
• Experience with cloud technologies is needed, ideally Azure
• Knowledge of Python is needed as they use this extensively as a language
• Knowledge of improving Data Quality and Data Governance within organisations would be beneficial for this role
