The company:

We’re working with an organisation that are developing an innovative platform for data scientists to share knowledge with each other. The aim here is to enrich data science projects to provide faster, more reliable data outcomes. Through this ‘marketplace’, data scientists will be able to access datasets, code and data software products to enhance data sets and produce better reports.

You will be a key part in a rapidly expanding and innovative company that really want you to get creative with how you tackle the tricky technical problems.

The role:

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Developer that can support other developers to create this new data platform. You’ll be a fundamental part of developing this next-generation, Stack Overflow-type platform for data scientists to improve their algorithms and models.

You’ll have full autonomy through the whole development process, with the opportunity to really develop and expand your own skill set at the same time.

What you’ll need:

• 5+ Years’ experience as a Frontend Developer
• Experience with JavaScript or Typescript
• Experience with React and Redux
• Willingness to share knowledge with more junior members of the team

In addition they use:

• A variety of tech for backend including Node, Scala, Python and Go
• HDFS, Cassandra, PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch for data storage
• AWS, Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes in the operational stack
