Software Architect – E-Learning Platform – Content Management – Java/Vue.js

The value of E-Learning has never been greater in recent years amidst worldwide restrictions on movement. From this time, we have unlocked new ways to develop professionally rather than traditional methods by looking to technology to provide new and innovative means of learning. My client has been providing leadership training for more than 20 years and is a US top-20 training company.

We are looking for a software architect to take a training product to new heights by advancing it into a dynamic and interactive platform. This is a brand-new role with a fully remote organization and leadership team that values autonomy and ensures there is as little red tape as possible. You will have an immediate user-base and scale the enterprise product to a worldwide audience.

What you will do as a Software Architect:

• Plan and architect a world-reaching training platform currently in its infancy
• Lead on the product roadmap (owning the next 3-5 years)
• Define the best practices for developers and support through code-reviews
• Lead on product initiatives covering:
  • High scalability
  • Web sockets
  • Integrating to LMS
  • Content management
  • Interactive dashboards
  • Customization capability
• Deliver cloud-based products using AWS services

What you will need to apply to the Software Architect opportunity:

• Significant experience in software engineering at the software architect level
• Built software for high-scalability – you will have an immediate user-base
• Non-relational database experience
• Content management
