You’ll work amongst an established team of over 30 other Data professionals with their own areas of specialism, such as Web Analytics, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Analysis & Insight, and now they’ve started their Data Science journey – your new department. 📊 📈
What you’ll need:
🌟As a very customer focused business; you’ll design & build multiple data products to enrich the customer experience through customer segmentation, personalisation algorithms & recommendation systems.
🌟Previous experience of building customer segmentation models
🌟You’ve directly managed a team of Data Scientists who are deploying & maintaining REAL-TIME Machine Learning Models
🌟Team management experience; although you won’t be inheriting a huge team initially; you’ll have scope and budget to build your own. You should be someone who loves managing a team rather than a manager who does it because it’s part of the job.
🌟To be proactive in managing relationships with key stakeholders in various business areas whilst learning their objectives.
🌟Be prepared to travel in-frequently, but when you need to as part of this newly created leadership role to different parts of the UK, the Midlands, London and North West to name a few. You’ll be expensed for this.
🌟You’ll need to be comfortable with a 40/40/20 split. 40% strategy, 40% line management, & a remaining 20% of your time still rolling your sleeves up working with the Data.
