Data Scientist | UK, Hybrid | £50,000 – £60,000 plus £5,000 car allowance

Calling all curious and pioneering Data Scientists who love to solve problems in their sleep… We’re working once more with a long-standing client who we’ve already helped to build their impressive Data Science function of over 20 Data Scientists, collectively throughout the UK.

We’re working with a national leader in one of the most competitive and demanding consumer industries; who’ve been operating for over 70 years and have just received a capital raise of over £1 billion. We’re looking for multiple individuals to be a part of this growing function who do extremely exciting stuff using various Machine Learning techniques working on flagship Data models. You’ll need R or Python programming skills

What you’ll do:

As a Data Scientist here; you’ll collaborate and contribute to the development of innovative new Data Products, whilst applying Machine Learning techniques to maximise their predictions across the UK and EU markets. You will also give insight to key internal stakeholders across the business. This includes analysing huge and very complex datasets, so you won’t ever be sitting idle.

What you’ll need:

• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R
• Knowledge and understanding of machine learning approaches
• Strong capabilities of extracting data using SQL
• Ability to provide insight and analysis for a wide audience – not just technical folk
• Use of cloud infrastructure to deploy models is an extra bonus
