Technology Manager | Swindon | £65,000 – £85,000 per year

As a Technology Manager, you will be specialising in the analytics space, defining the tools strategy, including the design of the integration with the data platform. You will act as a “Analytics Champion”, between the analytics teams across the business & drive the aligned use of modern analytics tech.

If you haven’t gathered by now, this company are extremely data-driven & they take their roles very seriously. You will be joining an organisation that have expanded into 82 markets worldwide, employing 4450 engineers & scientists. This is by no means an easy role or environment to work in – every day is a challenge; no time to stand around.

Your role will be split into 2 areas

Technology & Community

Be part of a collaborative environment by:

  • Leading excellence in the tool by using example and mentorship
  • Being able to shape and hold large scale events, engagement sessions & workshops
  • Leading the technology usage – you will be responsible for identifying and launching a series of initiatives & boosting the community


  • You will work closely with data & solution architecture teams to make sure new technology decisions are well-informed
  • Make sure that the tools strategy is adhered to, up to date and bring the analytics leaders of the business with you on the journey
  • Create relationships with technology partners
  • Proactively ensure the stability of the analytics technology

In order to be able to do all of these things (were not asking for much) you will need

  • To be a well-rounded data professional with experience across multiple functions and industries
  • Have knowledge of modern platforms and am able to make recommendations based on analytics
  • To sustain a large network of stakeholders
  • Essential experience includes – Analytics tools, Tableau, Looker, R, Database management and coding (SQL, Python)
  • To have experience working in a pressured environment

Not only will you be able to work in a super collaborative environment, but you will also be offered between £65,000 – £85,000 as a base salary plus some really exciting benefits including free on site parking & a very generous pension.
