Operations Manager – London

Operations Manager | London | Up to £85,000 per year

Are you confident you’d be able to help a start-up take its operations to the next level? Can you create a more impactful, productive & efficient business as usual? And lastly… do you actually want some autonomy in your role? (No, we’re not just saying it for the purpose of this advert)

My client really is an exciting place to work, you won’t mind staying behind on a Friday to have drinks with everyone!

They are looking for an Operations Manager to take the organisation to the next level, it’s a brand new, key role in the development and maturity of the business & will contribute to the day to day operations as well as redesigning their BAU.

To the juicy part…

Having a mission is key! – my client’s mission is to help organisations have deeper relationships with their customers by using data and ML (Machine Learning) to understand them on a more “human level”, in order to enable marketing personalisation at scale. They have remarkably developed their platform to handle data at an enormous scale.

With a 70+ person team (and growing!), they have offices located in Barcelona, London & New York! & They collectively speak over 15 languages.

Their DNA is made up of flexibility – they believe in the modern way of working (even before COVID). You’ll benefit from being able to work from home wherever needed, do the school run & get your weekly gym class in.

What will you be doing to help transform this business?

  • Redesigning their BAU to be more impactful
  • Champion and support the organisation’s objectives & key results
  • Play a key role in ensuring the company hybrid remote/office working model is successful
  • Mature the operations of the business
  • Collaborate with people in HR, Finance & Compliance to maintain specific processes and certifications
  • Work with teams located in Europe & the US

We’re not asking for the world, but we will need…

  • Somebody who has previous experience in an Operations Management role
  • Experience in transformation & business process improvement
  • Having worked in a small/start-up environment will be essential for this role! You need to be able to handle “chaotic change” & be able to work in a fast-paced environment

… told you!

If this sounds like an environment you want to work in, I’d highly recommend applying! If you don’t have a CV yet, don’t worry… We will help!

How the package works…

  • Base salary of up to £85,000 depending on experience
  • 26 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Free snacks & drinks all day – what more could you want?
  • Income protection plan
  • Higher than statutory maternity & paternity pay
