Master Data Analyst – Lisbon

Master Data Analyst | Lisbon | Up to €40,000 per year

Innovation and modernisation are at the heart of this end-user organisation, and the complexity of their product data and focus to drive consistency across the European business has generated the need to employ you, a master of Data – AKA – a Master Data Analyst with SQL and PowerBI or Excel skills.

As the Master Data Analyst, you’ll be part of a significant investment in building a new Data Warehouse, expanding the clients use of Data Science, developing new dashboards and standardising product descriptions. Here, you’ll create and implement a strategy for building a more consistent and clean set of product data that simplifies cross border comparisons, reporting on the current state of product master data to ensure improvement over time.

Your new team:

You’ll be one of the first few hires within this new data function where you’ll be given autonomy over your work. You’ll also report straight into senior management so, if you like the idea of joining a greenfield team in a brand new Data capability, then this is the one for you.

Your new company:

  • This is a brand new Data capability within a large established organisation with a presence across the EU; so, ultimately this is like working for a start-up within a large business.
  • They’re agile and fast-paced so if you’re adaptable to change and like the idea of very little red tape then this culture could be perfect for you.

About you and the skills you’ll need:

  • Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken) is absolutely essential
  • You’ll need knowledge of master data management tools and approaches
  • Extensive expertise in using data to drive improvements within an operations environment
  • SQL programming skills are essential to being successful in this Master Data Analyst role
  • Use of Power BI would be desirable but not essential
  • You’ll naturally bring strong stakeholder management skills as this is not a purely technical role, you’ll need to be confident dealing with senior management to present your analysis and findings

In return, you will receive:

  • Up to €40,000 as a basic salary
  • The chance to work with forward-thinking technologies like R, Python, Cloud solutions & Data Bricks
  • 22 days holiday
  • Lunch allowance
  • Excellent Learning & Development training options
