5 Ways Remote Work Helps Attract and Retain Top Talent

When KDR was incorporated 16 years ago we had a simple mission: to be the market leading agency placing contract staff with experience of working with the emerging data warehouse tool Kalido.
What started as a one-man band, is now a team of 20 dedicated consultants supplying contractors and permanent staff to the data, technology and analytics markets across the UK, Europe and US. Throughout our growth we have kept our ethos to recruit with integrity, to listen, to deliver on our promises and to work as a team.
I regularly have to recruit for both full time and contract resource in order to keep up with the ever increasing demand on my department. In order to fill these roles as quickly as possible, I rely heavily on external agencies with differing levels of success. KDR is by far the best agency that I deal with and I put this down to the fact they specialise in the data and analytics space. It is not an exaggeration to say that for every good CV I receive from other agencies, I get 10 from KDR. Of these 10, each candidate has already been pre-screened ensuring that I only conduct interviews with truly capable candidates.

It is safe to say that KDR is top of my preferred supplier list and I intend to use them for all of my recruitment needs for the foreseeable future.
During the course of 2018 KDR Recruitment were selected to help the Group Data Office fill a number of permanent Data Governance vacancies having exhausted our luck with agencies on our preferred supplier list. KDR were engaged due to their data expertise and access to a solid candidate base in the immediate and surrounding areas, key criteria we felt were necessary to attract talent in a challenging market.
This choice proved to be an excellent one as within days a good selection of candidates were presented to us that had been properly screened (NOT keyword filtered as some agencies do) and briefed on the roles available. In fact, KDR as the first real point of engagement between prospective candidates and NFUM understand the need to create a good first impression and had taken the time to visit our offices, understand our organisation, its culture, our team ambitions and of course the specifics of each role.
As a result of this approach we were able to fill the vacancies in relatively short order with high quality candidates and found that KDR were quick to respond to process issues and requests to keep the process moving efficiently.
I would highly recommend using KDR for specialist data recruitment.

It’s quite difficult to find good candidates with the required skills in biology and coding that we need for all our bioinformatics positions.
